Kirsten has been exhibiting and selling her artworks at Cobbs Café, for a few months now. The café is located above Craigdon Mountain Sports, just over the Edinburgh City By-pass from Hillend Ski-slope.
One of the great things about Kirsten exhibiting there is that we get visitors down at Hangar Framing who’ve seen Kirsten’s work there and then pop down to our Gallery to see a wider range, or come to collect something they’ve commissioned Kirsten to do for them.
We had a call from Billy (the Manager), today to tell us that the large framed Giclee print, of “The Castle from the Grassmarket” was bought from the wall at the top of the stairs. If you had your eye on that one, don’t worry. Let us know and we’ll make a beautiful giclée print, just for you and we’ll be delighted to help you choose the frame from our fantastic selection.
Kirsten tries not to tell us when hanging at Cobbs “just happens” to coincide with lunch, but then a few days later she’ll let slip about the delicious lunch she had! This one is for the Black Pudding fanatics among you.
We’ve got the excellent Fenton Barns Farm Shop & Café next door, so if Cobbs has got you hankering for a fine scone or tasty lunch to accompany your art buying and frame selection, we look forward to welcoming you to Hangar Framing.
