Old Map Silhouette Giclée print, Finnieston Crane, Glasgow

Artist : Kirsten Boston

SKU: OM3009FB Categories: ,

“This is a giclée print of the silhouette of the famous Finnieston Crane on the River Clyde in the centre of Glasgow, Scotland. This giant cantilever crane can be seen in the background of news broadcasts from BBC Pacific Quay. Although it is no longer operational, the Finnieston Crane is retained as an iconic symbol of the Glasgow’s engineering heritage, and is also known as the Stobcross Crane.
This striking Giclée map print is made in Scotland by outlining the Finnieston Crane to create a silhouette & then layering it over a section of a beautiful vintage map.”
